Thirty Years of Polish-German Relations in the Shadow of History (1990–2020)
The study aims at presenting the dominant role of history in Polish-German relations from the turn of the 1980s to the current moment. The past 30 years were divided into four sub-periods, and subsequently, the dominant historical issues for each sub-period were presented. Selected examples of problems from the past and the debates that have taken place and are taking place about these very problems clearly indicate its enormous importance for the development of relations between Poles and Germans. Particular attention was paid to the construction of the monument of the Polish victims of World War II in Germany.

Trzydzieści lat stosunków polsko-niemieckich w cieniu historii (1990–2020)
Celem artykułu jest ukazanie dominacji historii w stosunkach polsko-niemieckich od przełomu lat 80. i 90. XX w. po czasy współczesne. Trzydzieści minionych lat podzielono na cztery podokresy i zaprezentowano dominujące w nich kwestie historyczne. Wybrane przykłady problemów z przeszłości i debaty, jakie toczyły i toczą się nadal na ich temat, świadczą dobitnie o ich ogromnym znaczeniu dla rozwoju relacji między Polakami a Niemcami. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono kwestii budowy w Niemczech pomnika polskich ofiar II wojny światowej.
